Man Throws Puppy At Moving Train, Could Face 3 Years In Prison

by admin on June 23, 2010

On April 3, the owner of an adorable husky mix puppy, decided he no longer wanted the dog, so he tossed it at a train. 26 year old Justin Joost could face up to 3 years in prison if he is convicted, and honestly, that would be letting him off easy. The real heart breaker in this story though, is that the injured puppy tried to crawl back to her owner, dragging her broken leg, even after he tried to kill her.

Victorville Superior Court Judge Christopher Marshall ruled there was enough evidence to order the 26-year-old Joost to trial. Deputy Public Defender Raymon Hallard says Joost faces up to three years in prison if convicted.
The husky mix, named Gracie’s Chance by her new owner, lost a leg but is recovering.

We’re hoping Gracie’s Chance makes a speedy a recovery.
