A Virginia woman who pocketed over $150,000 that should have gone to the men who donated their sperm to Eastern Virginia Medical School has been convicted.
Adrienne Boothe was an EVMS employee who conducted contraceptive research using grant money. The program collected sperm donations and donors were to receive $30 per donation. However, Boothe falsified the documents and kept the money for herself.
She’ll be sentenced on December 13, 2010.
