Cops Nab 510-Pound Drug Dealer

by admin on October 20, 2010

Police in Allentown, Pennsylvania hauled in a guy called “Fat Freddy” after he allegedly sold pot to a police informant. Fat Freddy, whose real name is Jose Wilfredo Rivera, is said to weigh 510 pounds.

Freddy and his friend made the drug deal on the street in broad daylight, thinking themselves to be rather inconspicuous. Police had given the informant $20 to buy the marijuana. He bought the 20-sack from Freddy’s friend Alexander Flores, but Flores then handed the cash over to Freddy, so they were both arrested. Cops say they found more pot “nearby.”

Freddy and friend were charged with two counts each of possession with intent to deliver marijuana, possession of marijuana, conspiracy and one count each of possession of drug paraphernalia. Both men are in jail with bail set at $75,000 each. That’s a lot of 20-sacks!
