On Saturday night a band was playing at the Mexicali club in San Jose. Police were alerted that someone outside was trying to enter the club with a gun. By the time they arrived, 2 men were dead on the floor. A third man was seriously injured.
Around 8am the next morning, authorities were alerted, and found another dead body in the backseat of a Ford Explorer. They believe that this death is directly linked with the shooting on Saturday night.
Last year San Jose had 21 deaths total. This year, the kill count is already at 4, including the slaying on New Years.
